Day 1 : Tangier – Chefchaouen

Our team will welcome you and give you a tour briefing when you arrive. Then you visit Chefchaouen, a tiny village with a fort. One of the most picturesque settlements in the Rif Mountains, it has blue-painted buildings and homes. Next, free time to independently explore Chefchaouen. Stay the night in a traditional Riad in the medina.

Day 2 : Chefchouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Following breakfast, the tour moves on to Volubilis, a significant Roman archaeological site. Then, we travel to Meknes to see the fascinating monuments in this once-imperial city. Finally, you will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon, where you can spend some time around the city’s Medina before spending the night at a local Riad.

Day 3 : Fes (Guided tour of Fes)

After breakfast on day four, you will go on a guided tour of Fes with a local guide. Thus, you will notice fascinating neighbourhoods like the Andalusians, magnificent mosques, and Koranic schools as you enter the streets of the medina (old city). The guild structure is still evident in the work, the narrow streets can only accommodate donkeys for transportation, and there is a constant throng of people moving through the maze-like alleyways. Fes also has traditionally been linked to academic pursuits and religion, and it continues to be the country of Morocco’s spirituality. Finally, stay the night at a local hotel or riad.

Day 4 : Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will travel from Fes to Ifrane, a stunning mountain village that is frequently referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. In the centre of the Atlas Mountains, in the Cedars Forest, we’ll make a halt so you can see gorillas living freely. The excursion continues to Azrou, a Berber town located in Morocco’s biggest cedar forest. Later on, you visit the town of Midelt next, which is renowned for its minerals and cool summer climate. Day 5: Tour around Merzouga Desert

We will begin our excursion around the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes after breakfast. We will visit many wonderful locations in the Merzouga region, including a lake that occasionally dries out in the summer and where you can view many species of birds, including ducks and flamingos, who come to the lake for water or to reside there, especially in the spring. After visiting the town of Khamliya, where musicians from black Africa will perform African music (Gnawa), we’ll also continue our off-road excursion in the direction of the black desert hidden behind the sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi. After seeing a deserted village where mineral fossils are found, we’ll go see a nomadic Berber family to learn about their way of life.

We’ll have a fantastic lunch at a nearby restaurant when we get back to Khamliya. Thereafter, you will begin your camel trekking adventure in the late afternoon through the stunning, rare orange sand dunes in the desert camp. A wonderful opportunity to nourish your spirit while taking in the magnificent sunset over the dunes. Day 6 : Merzouga desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

You will wake up early on day four to watch the sunrise from the higher dune and then you will continue on the back of your camel trekking back to your hotel in Merzouga. After breakfast and shower, we will continue our private Morocco tour towards Rissani and Erfoud where you can visit a fossil and marble factory. Driving through Tinjdad and Tinghir will take you to your next destination: the Todra Gorge. It is a paradise for climbers and you will have free time to discover it by yourself. In the afternoon continue the journey to the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay in a local riad/hotel.

Day 7 : Dades Gorges – Ouarzazatte – Marrakech

On your fifth day, you will travel to Marrakech, stopping at Ouarzazate to see the film studios and Ait Ben Haddou (the hamlet and the Kasbah). Here, numerous well-known movies have been filmed. Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass is used to continue travelling over the High Atlas Mountains. When you get to Marrakech, we’ll either drop you off at your hotel or take you to the airport so you can fly out.
